A
compliance date of April 15, 1996 for additional source removal or additional investigation was issued
by this department.
PHS/EHD recommends that you submit a workplan describing a complete soil and groundwater
assessment of the contamination at the site. The workplan should include a methodology for gathering
data to determine the feasibility of natural attenuation as a remedial alternative. The workplan shall be
submitted to PHS/EHD by October 30, 1996. A cost estimate for the workplan should be submitted to
the State Water Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund program for reimbursement pre-approval.
For additional information please call Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
EnvironmentalHealthDivision
*teveasson, Senior REHS Merger i?C Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor
SS
c: Elizabeth Thayer - CVRWQCB-UST section
c: Mel Jacobo - SWRCB
c: Gary Barker- Horizon Environmental, Inc.
c: David Bartel - Tracy Chevrolet
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
