Street <br /> Tracy, California <br /> for <br /> Ms. Michelle Nokes, Vice President <br /> Winner Ford <br /> 1650 Park Street <br /> Alameda, California 94501 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms. Michelle Nokes of Winner Ford, Alameda, California, Horizon <br /> Environmental Inc. (Horizon) has conducted an additional subsurface investigation at the <br /> former Discovery Chevrolet in Tracy, California (Figure 1). The purpose of this work was <br /> to further assess gasoline-impacted soil and groundwater in the former underground storage <br /> tank (UST) area laterally and to evaluate if natural attenuation is a feasible remedial <br /> alternative. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> The subject site is a former automobile dealership located at 1615 West Ilth. Street in <br /> Tracy, California. The site is located adjacent to the Southern Pacific railroad tracks, and <br /> approximately 0.2 mile north of the Lower Main Canal (Figure 1). The elevation of the site <br /> is approximately 44 feet above mean sea level (MSL).
