(GSI) during installation and sampling of three onsite <br /> groundwater monitoring wells at the above-referenced location. The work <br /> described herein was originally described in GSI Report No. 6146.701-1 Work <br /> FF Plan, dated August 12, 1994. This work was performed during September 1994. <br /> A GSI geologist observed the drilling of three soil borings and installation of <br /> 'groundwater monitoring wells in each boring, prepared a log of each soil boring, <br /> and collected soil samples for chemical analysis. GSI's field services group, <br /> Gettler-Ryan Inc. (G-R), developed and sampled the groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> Field work described in this report was performed to comply with the State of ` <br /> California Water Resources Control Board's Leaking Underground Fuel Tanks f <br /> (LUFT) Manual, the Regional Water Quality Control Board's (RWQCB) Tri-Regional <br /> Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of <br /> Underground Tank Sites, and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division <br /> (SJCEHD) guidelines. <br /> f <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION F <br /> F <br /> V <br /> The subject site is located adjacent to the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks west <br /> of the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and West Eleventh Street in Tracy, <br /> California (Figure 1 ]. The site vicinity is relatively flat, and is situated at <br /> approximately 45 feet above mean sea level (MSL), The Lower Main Canal is <br /> located approximately 0.2 miles south of the site. <br /> Discovery Chevrolet formerly occupied the site. At that time, two gasoline <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) were located in a common excavation east of <br /> the Service Bays, and one waste oil UST was located southwest of the Service <br /> L <br /> 6747 Sierra Court, Suite.
