ATTACHMENT A
SUMMARY OF PREVIOUS INVESTIGATIONS
Chevron 20-1383, 1960 West 11`h Street,Tracy, CA
On January 18, 1991, Groundwater Technology, Incorporated (GTI) advanced seven soil
borings to assess initial site conditions before the Chevron service station was built. Three of
the borings were converted into temporary wells for collection of groundwater samples.
Analytical results for soil and groundwater samples were non-detect for total petroleum
hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes
(BTEX), and poly chlorinated biphenals (PCBs). Endosulfan sulfate (pesticide) was detected
in two of the groundwater samples. 4,4 DDE (pesticide) was detected in six of the soil
samples from 2 feet below ground surface (bgs). Four soil samples also contained 4,4 DDT
(pesticide). These pesticide detections are most likely residual concentrations left in the soil
from agricultural use at the site.
