(PACIFIC)at the site <br /> referenced above (Figure 1). The most recent groundwater monitoring event took <br /> place on August 30, 1.99 1.. At this time,groundwater levels were measured to assist <br /> in PACIFIC's hydrogeologic characterization of the site, and groundwater samples <br /> were collected for certified laboratory analysis. <br /> I <br /> Site Conditions <br /> The site is an operating UNOCAL bulk plant with two 19,500-gallon and. 1 <br /> I <br /> two 20,000-gallon above-ground hydrocarbon storage tanks located in the western <br /> portion of the property(Figure 2). The 19,500-gallon tanks contain diesel and I <br /> super unleaded gasoline, and the 20,000-gallon tanks contain regular leaded <br /> gasoline and unleaded gasoline. There are currently six groundwater monitoring I <br /> wells on site,designated U-1 through U-6.
