This zoning designation "established to preserve agricultural lands for the ' <br /> continuation of commercial agriculture enterprises". <br /> Location maps of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix A,Plate 1 and 2. <br /> 1.2 Proposed Development 1 <br /> The property currently consists of 2.68 acres of land with an existing three bedroom home on site. ' <br /> The project proposes to build an additional 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom manufactured home and <br /> associated septic system. <br /> 2.0 CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF SOIL ' <br /> 2.1 Chemical and Physical Soil Properties ' <br /> The site is depicted on the Preliminary Geologic Map of Quaternary Deposits of the Lodi Quadrangle4 <br /> and falls within the Pleistocene aged Riverbank Formation middle member (Plate 3,Appendix A) ' <br /> herein called Qr2. Qr2 is an alluvium unit derived from the glaciated interior of the Sierra and consists <br /> of coarse sand that thickens as it extends west with a total thickness range between 1 to 4 meters (or <br /> approximately 3-13 feet);this sand decreased in compaction with depths. ' <br /> The surface and near surface soils located at the site are reported by the San Joaquin County Soil <br /> Surveys to be composed of Tokay fine sandy loam, 0-2% slopes (Plate 4,Appendix A).
