Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Submit an addendum to the Surface Subsurface Contamination report previously submitted on <br /> October 31, 2007. <br /> B. A soil suitability study shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department indicating <br /> that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The study must be approved by the <br /> Environmental Health Department prior to recordation of Parcel Map. (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2 (d)). A review fee of $250 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic <br /> tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is <br /> required for each parcel. A permit fee of$125 per percolation hole is required. <br /> C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) <br /> and nitrates with the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to <br /> recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved <br /> laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> D. The well on Parcel #2 must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br /> Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows.- <br /> a. <br /> ollows:a. Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain an <br /> air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The discharge <br /> pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the pipe and <br /> opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County must be <br /> installed. <br />
