Airport Road, Manteca, San Joaquin County. Because you are proposing to
discharge waste to land you must obtain Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs).
To initiate the WDRs preparation process, please submit a Report of Waste Discharge (RWD)-.
The RWD consists of the enclosed Form 200, a technical report that will serve as your response
to Sections VI and VII of Form 200, and a filing fee. The technical report must, at a minimum,
address all items listed on the enclosed sheet entitled "Additional Information Requirements" and
must be prepared under the supervision of a registered civil engineer. The RWD shall also
include any additional information required to explain the site specific processes.
The filing fee is based on the threat and complexity of the discharge, as described in the enclosed
filing fee schedule. We have determined that this discharge is categorized as 3-B, with a $400
annual fee. Therefore, the RWD is to include a $400 check, made payable to the State Water
Resources Control Board.
Based on available information on the described facility, the site may qualify for regulation under
the General Order for Small Domestic Wastewater Systems. The monitoring requirements will
be tailored to fit the actual wastewater treatment system. If after reviewing the RWD, staff
determines the site does not qualify for a General Order, we will proceed with preparation and
adoption of site-specific WDRs.
Preparation of a Notice of Applicability for the General Order takes approximately 45 days;
preparation of site specific WDRs takes approximately 120-150 days. Please submit your RWD
as soon as possible to minimize impacts to your project schedule.
California Environmental Protection Agency
co Recycled Paper
The energy challenge facing California is real. Every Californian needs to take immediate action to reduce energy consumption.
For a list of simple ways you can reduce demand and cut your energy costs, see our Web-site at http:f/www.swrcb.ca.gov/rwgcb5
