ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIREIIIENTS
CHURCH FACILITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL FACILITY
MANTECA, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
Please provide the following information:
1. Describe nearby industrial or populated areas..
2. Do active or abandoned industrial, agricultural, domestic, or groundwater wells exist at the
site? If yes, provide a map showing their location(s). Include available data on the depth
of groundwater and information on aquifers and aquitards identified beneath the property.
I
3. A narrative description of all wastewater.conveyance, treatment; and disposal systems
planned for the facility. Include a description of the phased construction and wastewater
generation rates. The description shall include a discussion of how the treatment and
disposal system protects groundwater quality.
4. A process flow diagram, treatment plant site plan, and a scaled map showing the limits of
all existing and proposed disposal areas.
5. A description of the sources and types of wastewater flowing into the system, design flow
rates, and the design capacity of the system. Describe flow stabilization measures that will
be implemented.
6. Chemical characterization of the potable water supply including pH, hardness, alkalinity,
and a complete ion scan with anion/cation balance. Discuss water softening and other
water treatment processes that are needed or typically used and the relationship between
water supply treatment and wastewater treatment plant effluent quality.
7. Chemical characterization of wastewater quality, including biochemical oxygen demand,
total suspended solids, total dissolved solids, and nitrogenous compounds.
8. A description of the leach line/seepage pit construction and an explanation of how the
wastewater disposal in the seepage pit is protective of groundwater quality.
-,9.—Narrative description of proposed solids disposal practices for,.debris,-grit, screenings,-and
biosolids:
a. Method of disposal;
k b. - Frequency of disposal;
c. Disposal site/area name(s) and location(s).
14. A description of the types of soil underlying the site. Include site specific investigation
data rather than published data on the region. Provide the results of all infiltration tests
performed on the property.
11. A description of site hydrogeology, including available information on groundwater depth,
gradient, and water quality data for the first unconfined aquifer.
