• # } <br /> Analysis <br /> Background <br /> F <br /> On June 20, 2002, the Planning Commission approved Use Permit No. UP-01-9 for a church with a <br /> maximum of 249 seats in two (2) phases over a five (5) year period (Use Type: Religious Assembly- <br /> Neighborhood). Phase I includes the construction of a 6,400 square foot church building, and Phase II <br /> includes the construction of a 24,000 square foot multi-purpose room and demolition of the existing single <br /> family residence. The building plans for Phase I are currently in the process of being reviewed by the <br /> BuildingDivision of the Community Development Department. Building permits for Phase fl do not need to <br /> tY <br /> be issued until five(5)years from the date of approval as approved under the conditions of approval. <br /> Time Extension Request <br /> The applicant is requesting the one (1)year Time Extension because the building permits for Phase I were <br /> still in the process of being reviewed by the Building Division when the Use Permit was scheduled to expire <br /> on December 30, 2003. The one-year Time Extension application was submitted on December 23, 2003.
