STOCKTON METROPOLITAN AIRPORT SPECIAL PURPOSE PLAN -AIR METRO PARK ADDENDUM <br /> AUTHORITY AND APPLICATION <br /> The provisions contained in the Air Metro Park <br /> addendum to the Stockton. Metropolitan Airport <br /> Special Purpose Plan shall apply to all development <br /> meeting one or more or the following thresholds: <br /> 1. Construction of new buildings;and/or <br /> 2. Change of use of existing buildings from "less <br /> intensive" to "more intensive." <br /> The Air Metro Park addendum to the Stockton <br /> Metropolitan Airport Special Purpose Plan applies <br /> to all project applications within Air Metro Park <br /> development area (excluding the construction <br /> and/or maintenance of Airport runways, taxiways, <br /> and/or terminal support facilities). <br /> Within each chapter are specific development top- <br /> ics which are addressed in detail, usually accompa- <br /> nied by a graphic example. <br /> All development topics utilizing clear and explicit <br /> terminology such as "shall", "must", and "provide" <br /> constitute standards,and must be complied with. <br /> 1 All other topics using more flexible terms such as <br /> "should", "encourage", and "consider" constitute <br /> guidelines,and are intended as preferred,but flex- <br /> ible solutions. <br /> Whenever Air Metro Park development standards <br /> exceed San Joaquin County's codes or require- <br /> ments,the standards outlined in this document shall <br /> prevail. <br /> f� <br /> INTRODUCTION 1-7 <br />
