STOCKTON METROPOLITAN AIRPORT SPECIAL PURPOSE PLAN -AIR METRO PARK ADDENDUM <br /> Materials & Colors <br /> Utilize variety in materials,textures,and finishes,as <br /> well as color,light,and shadow to express function, <br /> order, depth and scale. Unarticulated tilt-up con- <br /> crete shall not be allowed as the primary exterior <br /> `j material; and color bands or stripes around the <br /> building shall not be allowed as the only means of <br /> visual enhancement. <br /> Proposed building colors shall be submitted for <br /> approval . to the Stockton Metropolitan Airport <br /> Design Review Committee prior to submission to <br /> the County for final approval. The color of the pri- <br /> mary building mass should be lighter in tone and <br /> more neutral. Accent colors should contrast, yet <br /> compliment,the primary building mass colors. <br /> Doors and Windows <br /> Buildings should have glass front entry doors to <br /> enhance visibility and orientation. Metal roll-up and <br /> secondary entries and exits should be considered as <br /> integral elements in the overall facade design. <br /> r <br /> Darkly tinted, mirrored or reflective glass shall not <br /> be used. Glass should be either clear,or lightly tint- <br /> ed with blue,green, or gray. <br /> Architectural Accent Elements <br /> The use of functionally appropriate architectural <br /> l accent elements is encouraged.
