SU-91-9. <br /> The District has the following comments and <br /> recommendation: <br /> i` <br /> 1. San Joaquin County's air quality relative to National <br /> Ambient Air Quality Standards set forth in the Clean Air <br /> Act is as follows: <br /> PM-10 - Non-attainment <br /> CO - Non-attainment (for Stockton <br /> Metropolitan Statistical Area only) <br /> Ozone - Non-attainment (possible SIP call area) <br /> i; <br /> The California Clean Air Act, AB 2595, requires counties <br /> which are designated as non-attainment to achieve a 5% <br /> annual reduction in emissions until the standards are met. <br /> 2. The applicant should be aware of the PM-10 Rule and <br /> the Indirect and Areawide Source Review Rule, both of <br /> which are currently proposed by the District for adoption <br /> in the near future. Both of these rules may affect the <br /> applicant' s project. A copy of these rules is available <br /> upon written request to the District. <br /> 3 . Emissions generated during the construction process <br /> are of some concern to the District. The attached dust <br /> control practices shall be implemented if and when <br /> construction takes place. <br /> I � <br />
