SU-91-9
Dear Mr. Rachels:
Your Improvement Plans and Specifications for Flor Ranch Unit No.1 were approved on May 4,1999.
Our approval of your Improvement Plans and Specifications covers only the design of improvement
features shown.
It is emphasized that the Improvement Plans and Specifications approval does not supersede
any required applications, permits, approvals or inspections involving State or Federal agencies,
other County departments and districts, including the Community Development Department and
Public Health Services. Building and electrical details are under the jurisdiction of the Community
Development Department. Any changes to these Improvement Plans and Specifications must be
prepared and certified by a California Registered Civil Engineer, and shall be approved by the Director
of Public Works or his designee, prior to construction.
The Field Engineering Division (468-3022) shall be notified not less than 48 hours (two working days)
in advance of commencing any construction concerning improvements to be inspected by the
Department of Public Works. A meeting with the developer or his authorized representative, the
contractor and this Department should be scheduled with the Field Engineering Division prior to
commencing work on this project.
It is of major importance that the foregoing procedures be followed in order to assure that this
Department may recommend to the Board of Supervisors that the completed work be accepted by
the County. Any workiperformed without adequate inspection maybe deemed unacceptable, thereby
r jeopardizing project acceptance. It is also necessary that the subdivider execute an improvement
agreement with the-County ensuring completion of the improvements within one (1) year of the date of
acceptance of the Final Map. The full responsibility for the above requirements rests entirely with the-
developer or his authorized representative. Evidence of delegation of authority to such authorized
representative shall be submitted to the department upon receipt of this letter.
rJ
This Department is staffed to assist you in the timely completion of your public improvements.
Your cooperation, therefore, is solicited in order that we may serve you most effectively.
II
4
y
