Kasey Foley,REHS,Assistant Director <br /> PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br /> Robert McClellon, REHS <br /> Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br /> Willy Ng,REHS <br /> Muniappa Naidu, REHS <br /> Michael Kith,REHS <br /> October 1, 2018 <br /> Terracon Consultants, Inc <br /> 902 Industrial Way <br /> Lodi, CA 95240 <br /> RE: Nitrate Loading Study for Carrolton Rd, <br /> Service Request SR0079631. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed your <br /> Nitrate Loading study report dated September 6, 2018 and has found it meets the requirements of <br /> San Joaquin County and Code Title 9, section 9-1105.2 (d) with the following conditions: <br /> SPECIAL COMMENTS: <br /> The results of the Nitrate Loading Study indicate the proposed three-bedroom residence home and <br /> attached pool house have the potential to impact groundwater above the maximum contaminant <br /> level of 10 mg/L. <br /> Prior to issuance of building permit for proposed residence, submit an engineer designed sewage <br /> disposal plan to mitigate the nitrate at the point of discharge. The fee will be based on the current <br /> schedule at the time of payment. <br /> In order to monitor the effectiveness of the proposed mitigation and pursuant to San Joaquin County <br /> OWTS Standards, Section 2.10, an annual permit and sampling of the onsite water well by a certified <br /> laboratory for Nitrate as Nitrogen is required. The analytical results of the sampling must be <br /> transmitted from the certified laboratory to the EHD by December 31St of each year.
