The boring was four inches in diameter and three feet in <br /> depth; it was advanced by hand auger. The location of the boring is indicated on Plate <br /> 2. The soil in the boring was within the range of what would be anticipated based on <br /> the Soil Survey data reviewed. The following table presents the log for the soil boring. <br /> Table 2. Brown silty medium to course sand, loose, (SNI) <br /> Discussion of Soil Lithology <br /> Based on the soils observed in the boring, there appears to be moderate to good <br /> potential for percolation.
