They currently have 431 acres of farm ground rented consisting of parcels
203-109-03, 203-190-05, 203-200-03, 203-200-21, and 205-040-01.
In order for this dairy operation to operate under the guidelines of this study, the Dairy must
continue to secure through leases or purchase 671 acres. Failure to have this amount of acreage
may cause adverse effects to the soil and water in and around the dairy facility.
The Environmental Health Department requires that cow corals planned to be located on the
North side of the dairy's milk house/barn be kept one hundred feet from the milk-house. This
will assist in preventing dust, flies, and odors from entering the milk-house/barn.
if you have any questions, please contact Larry Godinho, Senior Registered Environmental
Health Specialist and Registered Dairy Inspector of my staff at(209)468-0330.
Donna Heran,R.E.H.S.,Director
Environmental Health Department
Mike Huggins, Supervising R.E.H.S., R.D.I.
Environmental Health Department
MH: cf
cc: David Avila, Project Mandger, Western Dairy Design Associates, Inc.
