The effectiveness of the gull <br /> control program at the existing landfill in avoiding bird hazards to aircraft is <br /> discussed under IV.A Surrounding and Nearby Land Uses, and the <br /> demonstration that the site will not pose a bird hazard to aircraft was placed in <br /> the operating record by letter on 7 November 2014. (Fanning, 2014c;Fanning, <br /> 2014d). Advisory Circular 150/5200-34A applies only to establishment of new <br /> landfills near airports, and does not apply to the proposed project. <br /> • The project sponsor will abide by any additional reasonable and feasible <br /> measures designated by the Stockton Metropolitan Airport or the FAA to <br /> mitigate bird population impacts that could be caused by the proposed project. <br /> A.5. Forward notified CalRecycle that <br /> the demonstration was placed in the operating record by letter on 7 <br /> November 2014. <br />
