During a weekday, traffic flows are typically highest during morning <br /> (AM) and evening(PM)peak periods. Therefore,the potential for a project to adversely affect <br /> the operation of a transportation system is greatest during these peak periods. The proposed <br /> project would operate during both peak periods,therefore, this study focuses on potential <br /> impacts during both the AM and PM peak periods. <br /> Study Intersections. Twelve study intersections were selected for analysis in the traffic study <br /> for the 2018 SEIR, with input from County of San Joaquin staff. The study intersections and the <br /> type of control (signal or stop control)are listed in Table IV.13-3,below. The intersection <br /> numbering corresponds to the locations of the intersections shown in Figure IV.B-1. <br />
