Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report Page VIII-100 <br /> Forward Inc.Landfill 2018 Expansion Project <br /> Noise <br /> Changes on page IV.C-10-11: # <br /> The Landfill shall implement one of the following two options ex-ist to mitigate this <br /> potentially significant impact: <br /> (a)Heavy equipment operations shall not be conducted within 1,500 feet of any <br /> occupied residence after 10 p.m. and before 7 a.m.;or <br /> (b)Equipment operations within 1,500 feet of any residence after 10 p.m. or ' <br /> before 7 a.m. shall be fully shielded from the direct line of sight to the residence <br /> by an earthen berm whose crown elevation exceeds the elevation of the top of the <br /> exhaust stack. <br /> Biological Resources <br /> Since publication of the Draft SEIR,Forward received confirmation from the US Army ' <br /> Corps of Engineers of its re-verification of Corps-jurisdictional wetland habitats on the <br /> site. To reflect this,the following edits have been made to the first paragraph on Impact ' <br /> F.1, Loss of Wetland Habitat: <br /> Impact F.1.Loss of Wetland Habitat. On December 18,2007, the U.S. Army <br /> Corps of Engineers (Corps)verified 1.25 acres(54,371 square feet) of waters of <br /> the U.S. on the project site along the southern branch of Littlejohn's Creek. On <br /> June 14, 2018,Monk&Associates re-mapped the project site and field verified an ' <br /> equivalent acreage (1.25 acres)of waters of the U.S./State to be present within <br /> the stretch of the southern branch of Littlejohn's Creek running along the <br /> northern boundary of the recycling and composting facility.,' On December 17, ' <br /> 2018, the site's wetlands were re-verified and a Preliminary Turisdiction <br /> Determination was made by the Corps, with no change in wetlands location or <br /> acreage.
