I will briefly describe <br /> Sierra Club's position on landfill expansions and request a CEQA analysis to disclose the environmental <br /> impacts relating to the expansion and continued operation of the landfill. <br /> The Eastern San Joaquin Subbasin is critically overdrafted and is a high priority basin currently developing a <br /> Groundwater Sustainability Plan. The expansion should have CEQA analysis of groundwater,along with <br /> analysis of procedures for removing usable materials from the waste stream,air pollution conditions:proposed <br /> and existing, increased green house gases,and describing how the expansion will tie into existing operations. <br /> Furthermore,increased vehicles traveled should be analyzed. Both project based and cumulative impacts <br /> should be analyzed. <br /> Thank you for your consideration.
