It is imperative that the toilet and sink are checked periodically, at least once per month for leaking
fixtures.
As-Builts of the septic system must be drawn and submitted to the EHD by the septic system
installer/contractor after installation.
It is important to recognize that all septic systems and disposal areas have a lifespan. This lifespan
is unpredictable due to the numerous operational and environmental factors involved. Biomat
buildup that will occur at the soil/effluent interface within the leachline and seepage pit is a
naturally occurring process. Since the effluent flow volumes will be small and the organic loading
comparatively light, the biomat formation process should take a long period of time.
IV. LIMITATIONS
The findings, opinions, conclusions and design criteria expressed in this report are based upon
information from standard engineering data and analytical procedures, contemporary scientific
literature, field observations and agency consultations. Information in this report is deemed reliable
by the sources from where it was obtained.
This report is based upon current scientific knowledge to assess factors which are extremely
variable and complex within the environment. Although there are several methods to design, size
and predict impact from septic systems, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division
Sewage Standards, federal and state publications and information from the scientific literature have
been employed for these purposes, and for this project. Therefore, no guarantee or warranty
concerning any aspect of this investigation or design criteria is expressed or implied.
The opportunity to provide this service for you is appreciated. If there should be any questions
regarding the information contained in this report, please contact the undersigned.
Respectfully submitted,
Q,ofesslo
CHESNEY CONSULTING oD.
