HIRATA <br /> DIRECTOR <br /> June 22, 1994 <br /> Mr. Lee Meidinger <br /> Post Office Box 189 <br /> Clements, California 95227 <br /> SUBJECT: WATER SERVICE FOR ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NO. 019-220-10 <br /> FROM COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 43 <br /> Dear Mr. Meidinger: <br /> The County Service Area No. 43 will serve the above referenced site with water provided <br /> all necessary improvements are made to the water system, which comply with State and <br /> County standards. <br /> Annexation to the County Service Area No. 43 will be required and all applicable <br /> connection or buy-in fees shall be paid. A statement of annexation costs is attached. <br /> Please provide a copy of the Grant Deed of the property to be annexed. <br /> If any extension, connection, or placement of new facilities is required to connect to the <br /> existing supply, the cost shall be borne by the applicant. An improvement plan shall be <br /> submitted for review and approval. A water meter (sensus brand measurable in gallons) <br /> shall be installed and provided with attachment connector spud. Any interruption to the <br /> existing water system shall be done by the Utility Maintenance Division. If any <br /> interruption to the existing water system is necessary, please contact the Utility <br /> Maintenance Division at (209) 468-3090 to perform the task. In addition, the Utility <br /> Maintenance Division shall be contacted prior to backfilling. <br /> If an existing well is to be destroyed, a permit from Environmental Health Division shall be <br /> acquired before water will be supplied and destruction of the well shall be complete within <br /> 30 days of hook-up. If a well is to remain on the property, an approved reduced pressure <br /> backflow prevention device will be required. The applicant shall have the reduced pressure <br /> backflow prevention device tested by a licensed tester prior to final inspection and every <br /> year thereafter at the owner's expense. A copy of the test result shall be submitted to the <br /> Utility Maintenance Division. <br />
