It should also be noted approximately 7 employees have on-site housing(no vehicle trips to work).After the proposed expansion Delta Woods will have 14 total employees of which 11 will be working each day.The extra employees should add four vehicle trips per day.As the chart details, the dairy will go from 2 commodity truck deliveries per day to 4 commodity truck deliveries per day. Milk pick up will go from 2 per day to 3 truck loads per day.Vendor deliveries should remain at 1 per day and cattle trucks should go from 1 to 2 trips per day.Silage harvest generally takes one week in the spring and one week in the fall. Currently,the dairy has 200 loads during one week in the spring and 250 loads during a week in the fall. After the expansion those numbers should double to 400 and 500 respectively.
