UP-01-07 OF BACCHETTI, LINO <br /> TRUST (C10 BACCHETTI & SILVA DAIRY) (18344 S. BACCHETTI <br /> ROAD, TRACY) (APN: 212-120-09) <br /> The applicant is proposing to establish a cheese manufacturing facility within an existing <br /> dairy farm (U-71-374). The 2,884 square foot building will be used to process milk for <br /> farmstead cheese. The cheese manufacturing facility will operate-seven (7) days a <br /> week and will employ two (2) people who live on the farm. <br /> The dairy farm currently produces approximately 7000 gallons of milk per day. Of that <br /> 7000 gallons, 1000 gallons will be used to manufacture cheese. Approximately fifty (50) <br /> to one hundred (100) gallons of wash water will be discharged daily and the remainder <br /> of the excess liquid produced (whey) will be fed back to the dairy's younger stock. <br /> l <br /> The site is located on the east side of Bacchetti Road, 600 feet north of Whitehall Road, <br /> north of Tracy. The building is currently under construction (BP-9903839) and is <br /> approved as a dairy tank room addition. Because the applicants decided to <br /> manufacture cheese within the building, a new use type was generated (Use Type: <br /> Agricultural Processing-Food Manufacturing) and therefore, a Use Permit is required. <br /> July 5, <br /> This protect is tentatively scheduled is be heard by the Planning Commission on Jul <br /> 2001. <br /> The Community Development Department has reviewed the Use Permit application and <br /> responses from other agencies and will be recommending that the Planning Commission <br /> approve the project subject to the following recommended Conditions of Approval: <br /> Use Permit Application No. UP-01-07 was approved by the Planning Commission on <br /> . The effective date of approval is . This approval will expire on , which is 18 months <br /> from the effective date of approval, unless (1) all Conditions of Approval have been <br /> complied with, (2) all necessary building permits have been issued and remain in <br /> force, and (3) all necessary permits from other agencies have been issued and <br /> remain in force. <br /> Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval and ordinance requirements <br /> shall be fulfilled prior to the establishment of the use and the issuance of any <br /> building permits.
