February 3,2005 r NOA Project Number: E040116A 3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE Fj3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage According to Mr. Edwards (personal communication, December.9, 2004), there are two septic systems on the site. One is for the house that is.located on the property and the other is for a mobile F; trailer that is on the property. No septic system permits were found for the Site during file review - on November 2, 2004. - Fj3.2 On-Site Septic Permit History I No septic permits were found f6r the Site during file review at EHD on November 2, 2004. 3.3 On-Site P Septic Repair Permit-History . No septic repair permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on November 2; 2004. 3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site,-our office reviewed a 1993 aerial photograph of the subject property available from Microsoft Terraserver. We counted F! the building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a_ minimum of 105 septic system per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site. The general use of the vicinity is agriculture, but there are a few residences in the area, mostly to the north. 3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity F1The following septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at EHD on November 2, 2004: - Table 1.
