0 n
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
S
In summary, the soil conditions near the percolation test appear to be suitable. A
satisfactory soil percolation rate of 17 minutes per inch was observed. The exact
location of any future drain field has not been determined. However, the percolation
tests represent an area of approximately 100 feet in radius.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is relatively shallow,
approximately 23 to 48 feet below the ground surface. The ground-water flow direction
is to the north or northeast at a rate of 6.7 to 10 feet per mile.
The on-site domestic water well was tested for nitrate and DBCP. Results of the testing
will be forwarded once they are received from the laboratory.
We believe the Site suitable for development with the use of standard septic systems
utilizing shallow leach lines and sumps up to 10 feet deep.
LOGE0916 Page 8
