Any agricultural activities and the use of septic systems in the area should be considered <br /> potential ground-water contamination sources. <br /> 4.3 Water Sample Location <br /> No well permits were found for the subject property on December 2, 2004. <br /> No water sample was taken because no wells exist on the property. <br /> 5.0 SOIL PROFILE AND.GEOLOGIC INFORMATION <br /> The Site is depicted on the Preliminary Geologic Map of the San Francisco San Jose Cenozoic <br /> Deposits of the Tracy Quadrangle, California (1981), as within a region of Quaternary Fan deposits. <br /> The unit is one of gravel, sand silt and clay (Plate 3). <br /> The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the San Joaquin County Soil Survey <br /> to be composed of the Capay clay, 0-2 percent slopes, Capay clay,wet, 0-2 percent slopes, and the <br /> Stormar clay loam, 0-2 percent slopes (Plate 4) (USDA, 1992).
