BATES ROAD
TRACY, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA
MS-98-5
Dear Mr. Olmstead:
As requested, on May 14, 1998, personnel of our firm drilled and set-up two approximate 3'/2-
foot deep percolation test holes on the proposed parcels 1 and 2 of the subject project. The
percolation test holes were hand-drilled, cased with slotted PVC pipe, filled with relatively-clean
water, and left to soak overnight. The locations of the percolation tests are indicated on the site
plan and vicinity map included as Plate 1.
A representative of our firm returned to the site on May 15, 1998, and performed the percolation
tests per San Joaquin County guidelines. The tests were performed for four hours, and the last
thirty minutes were used to calculate a percolation rate of 12 minutes per inch for each test. The
County-approved percolation field test sheet is included with this letter.
We trust this letter presents the information required at this time. If you have any questions
regarding this letter please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
KLEINFELDER, INC.
Steven R.
