Bender Road Acampo, CA 95220 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Site Approval application to expand an existing small winery and increase the number of marketing events and attendees per year. The expansion includes the construction of a 1,200 square foot event/barrel storage room, a 500 square foot restroom, a 1,200 square foot case storage building, a 6,200 square foot wine garden, and a 300 square foot lab/kitchen and to increase the maximum number of marketing events per year from 4 to 12 and the maximum number of attendees per marketing event from 25 to 150 people. Outdoor and indoor amplified sound is proposed at the marketing events. This property is not under a Williamson Act contract. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture) and OS/RC (Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located along the west side of Bender Road, 385 feet north of Taddei Road, north west of Lodi in Acampo. (APN/Address: 003-170-10 & 54/22769 N. Bender Road, Acampo) (Supervisorial District 4) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than February 18, 2015. Comments or recommendations received after that date would not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application. The County's Development Committee will review this application on February 25, 2015- If you would like to receive notice of the staff determination for this project, please notify the Community Development Department in writing.
