Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability study, as required by Section 9-1105.2 (d) of the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, indicating that the area is suitable for a septic tank system must be <br /> performed prior to Improvement Plan/Grading-Building Permit. A review fee of$186.00 is <br /> required at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A.Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The agricultural well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br /> Health Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(c)) as follows: <br /> • Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain <br /> an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The <br /> discharge pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the <br /> pipe and opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County must <br /> be installed. <br /> C. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-systems)under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability Study (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> D. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-11153). <br />
