ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> AN D ASS O' C:-I '-AT E-S- INSP-ECTIONS a TE'ST'ING <br /> LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> POOL ENGINEERING <br /> POST TENSION DESIGN <br /> September 9,2005: <br /> NOA Project Number: E05110A <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> SWICKARD PROPERTY <br /> 9499 BIEDERMAN WAY <br /> ESCALON, CALIFORNIA <br /> SJC APPLICATION NUMBER: PA-0500260 (SA) <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Mrs. Beth Swickard of Escalon to conduct a soil suitability study for <br /> the property at 9499 Biederman Way, Escalon, California. <br /> The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with_a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9'1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting.percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> County,Public Health Services,'Environmental Health Department(I-HD). <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review-of published soil information, geologic <br /> F1 maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> # septic system. - <br /> The-formatting of this report_has been designed'to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil SuitabiEty Study Requirements CheckUst, dated July 14 2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 205-190-22. The parcel is 9.85 acres in size <br /> (Plate.1). The county application number is PA-0500260 (SA). The site is currently fallow land.
