During future monitoring events, sample containers will be properly labeled to prevent
misidentification.
2. The next monitoring event is scheduled for the late June 1997.
fj 3. The domestic water well tested in December of 1996 should also be included in the
quarterly monitoring routine. The total depth of the domestic well will also be
determined if possible.
4. After the next set of monitoring wells are installed, test all the monitoring well water
samples for MTBE and have positive results confirmed. Also test these wells for
dissolved oxygen (DO) and oxidation-reduction-potential (ORP), in addition to the
standard field water quality measurements of temperature,pH, and conductivity.
5. A work plan has been submitted for further work to define the lateral and vertical extent
of the plume, particularly in a down gradient direction.
=5 6. Once the plume has been fully defined a risk assessment performed to evaluate the risk
these chemicals pose to public health and the environment.
_ 3
-'i
4.0 SIGNATURES AND CERTIFICATION
This project was performed by Geological Technics Inc. in accordance with accepted
geologic and hydrologic standards of the State of California accepted and in effect at the time
of this investigation.
ort was prepared b
This re re
P P P Y:
Geo(ogicafTechinics Inc.
Michael J.
