Hendershott
28100 South Highway 33
Tracy, CA 95376
PROJECT: Minor Subdivision Application No. MS-92-14
SUBJECT: Percolation Testing
On April 8 , 1992 representatives of Quality Control Inspection,
Inc. prepared percolation test borings using a truck mounted B40H
Mobile Drill Rig at locations selected by our field personnel.
These locations were determined based upon site surveys by the
Engineer of Record, Mr. Earnest Smith, P.E. The percolation
testing was conducted in accordance with San Joaquin County's
Percolation Test Procedures.
Three percolation test borings were drilled using an eight-inch
O.D. solid stem auger to depths of approximately 42 inches for the
shallow test hole, a 7 foot 6 inch test hole, and a 12 feet 2 inch
for the deep test boring. Test hole sidewalls were scarified and
sleeved with four-inch O.D. perforated pipe to prevent cave-ins and
insure test hole integrity. Gravel was added to the hole bottom
and placed in the annular space between the perforated pipe and the
bore hole. The test borings were pre-saturated 24 hrs before
percolation testing commenced on April 15, 1992 .
An exploratory test hole was drilled to a depth of 20 feet and is
provided in the Appendix of this report as the Log of Boring.
Please find attached the "Field Percolation Testing Report" that
is signed by the San Joaquin County Registered Sanitarian and
includes test boring locations, percolation rates and recommended
sewage disposal area.
Respectfully submitted,
17 TY CONTROL INSPECTION, INC.LAA-1
Jess Wry, P.E.
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
