Hendershott QCI#: E-91-661
28100 South Highway 33
Tracy, CA 95376
Project: Soil Suitability Study
Subject Property: 28100 South Highway 33 , A.P.N. 238-20-22 , T2SR5E.
Minor Sub Number: 92-14 >
[1] EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This Soil Suitability Study presents the results of our
investigation concerning the soil strata under the subject property
referenced above. This study was performed to determine if this
site is acceptable for a septic system that will function properly
and pose no adverse environmental impact to surface waters, or to
the underlying groundwater. This report is in compliance with the
requirements of Section 9-10100 Item (c) of the San Joaquin County
Ordinance No. 3323 , Division 10, Chapter 2 .
[2] SUBJECT SITE AND STUDY AREA BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The subject property is located southeast of the City of Tracy in
a predominately agricultural region. The topography is relatively
flat and the site is located north of Linne Road and the Banta
Carbona Irrigation District canal. To the east is Bird Road and
to the west is Interstate 5. Various crops are produced in
surrounding fields, including walnuts, alfalfa, row crops and
almonds. There are currently buildings and residential structures
on Parcel 1. The "remainder" portion of the subject property is
currently in alfalfa. The residential density in the surrounding
area is very sparse, consisting of agricultural homesites,
commercial buildings and mini-ranches.
According to San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health
records, there have been eight applications for additional drainage
in the study area surrounding the subject property.
