r
k%1 KLEINFELDER Mcgell9kAn employeeowned companyr[File No. 20-4667-01
October 26, 2001 OCT 2 9 z601
EWRONMEIVT HEALTH
Mr. LeRoy Petz Sr. PERMl7T/SEROCES
29200 S. Bird Road
Tracy, California 95376
Subject: NITRATE LOADING STUDY
29300 SOUTH BIRD ROAD (APN 255-020-63)
SAND JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Dear Mr. Petz; I
I
Kleinfelder is pleased to present the results of our nitrate loading study for the referenced
ro ert
p located near Trac in San Joaquin County, property y q California. The study was performed in
general accordance to the requirements of Section 9-101009 of San Joaquin County Ordinance.
The following includes background information regarding the proposed development, present
and past use of the site, and the historical groundwater depths in the project area. Finally, the
results of our nitrate loading calculations and project limitations are provided.
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
We understand the subject 2.25-acre lot will be developed for a 3,300 square foot residence,
Appurtenant construction may include a paved driveway, various concrete flatwork, and buried
utilities. We anticipate the proposed home will be one and/or two story, wood frame structure.
Grading plans were not available at the time this report was prepared. However, as site
topography is relatively level, cuts and fills during earthwork are anticipated to be minimal (2
feet or less in vertical extent) in order to provide level building pad.
We anticipate that waste disposal for the residence will be provided by an individual on-site
sewage disposal system consisting of a conventional septic tank and Ieach trench disposal field.
PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE
Through interviews with the current property owner, we understand that past 20 years or more
the site has been cultivated with row crops. A review of in-house aerial photographs confirms
our understanding, Recently, we understand that a water well was installed by Henning Brothers
on-site. The pump for the well was installed by Modesto Pump.
20-4667-01/2011 L743
Copyright 2001 Kleinfelder,Inc.
