STER, � APPLICATION PROCESSING • PREAPPLICATION A preapplicallon conference shall be required for a proposed Special Purpose Plan. The CONFERENCE conference Shap determine the purpose of the plan and its contents. STEP 3 SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION-Apellcatlons are accepted by appointment only. Call 468-3120 for an appointment. When you apply,file all of the following: FEE The staff will let you know the current coat of filing an application. Make checks payable to ' the San Joaquin County Treasurer. • FORM Ten(10) copies of the completed application information forms (attached)which all owners must sign. • SiTE PLAN Ten (10) copies of a plan of the area to be affected. Contents and detail of the Plan will be as determined In the Preapplicadon Conferance. DEED One copy of the recorded deeds) of the property. • SERVICES If your project requires connection to public facilities.you must submit a'will•serve'letter from the appropriate water,sewer and drainage entities at the time of filing. This letter must Include a statement from the agency that they wilt serve the proposed development, and has,or will have,the capacity to provide such service. • SOiL SUITABILITY H the proposed method of sewage disposal is on-alte, and this Is permissible,submit a soil STUDY suitability study prepared to the specifications of the Environmental Health Division. APPLICATION Staff will check your application. if anything Is missing,you will be notified in writing.The COMPLETE applicant will be sent a postcard once the application has been determined complete. {Your application cannot be processed until H fs_complate.) • CEQA The County will decide if the proposal will have an adverse effect on the environment If there are no adverse effects,the application will be processed. H there are potential adverse effects,further environmental review wilt be required. Projects that have the potential to adversely affect the environment will require the preparation of an E.I.R. This may extend the processing time. • REFERRALS AND Staff will refer the application to arty County departments,other agencies and surrounding ACTION property owners affected by your proposal. At the and of a review and comment period a staff report will be prepared and the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing. At the conclusion of the hearing the Commission will either toter the application to the Board of Supervisors with a favorable recommendation or deny the request The Board of Supervisors will then hold a public hearing and take final action on your request(Note: I Planning Commission denials must be appealed In order to be heard by the Board of 1 Supervisors). • FINAL ACTION The Board of Supervisors action Is final. STEP 4 CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL PERMITS • CONDITIONS The staff will send you the final action. Builness License applications cart be processed concurrently with the Special ^Purpose-Plan.- BUILDING Plan:BUILDING H the project involves construction a building permit must be approved prior to PERMITS commencement of work. OTHER PERMITS Frequently other local,state and/or federal agencies will require permits prior to new uses being established(e.g.Air Pollution Control-District,Regional Water Quality Control Board Fish&Game.Fish S Wildlife or the Sheriff's Office).
