The <br /> CONFERENCE conference Shap determine the purpose of the plan and its contents. <br /> STEP 3 SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION-Apellcatlons are accepted by appointment only. Call 468-3120 for an <br /> appointment. When you apply,file all of the following: <br /> FEE The staff will let you know the current coat of filing an application. Make checks payable to <br />' the San Joaquin County Treasurer. <br /> • FORM Ten(10) copies of the completed application information forms (attached)which all owners <br /> must sign. <br /> • SiTE PLAN Ten (10) copies of a plan of the area to be affected. Contents and detail of the Plan will be <br /> as determined In the Preapplicadon Conferance. <br /> DEED One copy of the recorded deeds) of the property. <br /> • SERVICES If your project requires connection to public facilities.you must submit a'will•serve'letter <br /> from the appropriate water,sewer and drainage entities at the time of filing. This letter must <br /> Include a statement from the agency that they wilt serve the proposed development, and <br /> has,or will have,the capacity to provide such service. <br /> • SOiL SUITABILITY H the proposed method of sewage disposal is on-alte, and this Is permissible,submit a soil <br /> STUDY suitability study prepared to the specifications of the Environmental Health Division. <br /> APPLICATION Staff will check your application. if anything Is missing,you will be notified in writing.The <br /> COMPLETE applicant will be sent a postcard once the application has been determined complete. <br /> {Your application cannot be processed until H fs_complate.) <br /> • CEQA The County will decide if the proposal will have an adverse effect on the environment If <br /> there are no adverse effects,the application will be processed. H there are potential <br /> adverse effects,further environmental review wilt be required. Projects that have the <br /> potential to adversely affect the environment will require the preparation of an E.I.R. This <br /> may extend the processing time. <br /> • REFERRALS AND Staff will refer the application to arty County departments,other agencies and surrounding <br /> ACTION property owners affected by your proposal. At the and of a review and comment period a <br /> staff report will be prepared and the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing. At the <br /> conclusion of the hearing the Commission will either toter the application to the Board of <br /> Supervisors with a favorable recommendation or deny the request The Board of <br /> Supervisors will then hold a public hearing and take final action on your request(Note: <br /> I Planning Commission denials must be appealed In order to be heard by the Board of <br /> 1 Supervisors). <br /> • FINAL ACTION The Board of Supervisors action Is final. <br /> STEP 4 CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL PERMITS <br /> • CONDITIONS The staff will send you the final action. <br /> SANITATION b Projects that will utilize new on-Site sanit don disposal andfor on-she wells,must get <br /> I WELL PERMITS permits from the Environmental Health Division. <br /> Ik BUSINESS N the project involves a business,a Business License must be approved prior to starting <br /> LICENSES operation.. Builness License applications cart be processed concurrently with the Special <br /> ^Purpose-Plan.- <br /> BUILDING <br /> Plan:BUILDING H the project involves construction a building permit must be approved prior to <br /> PERMITS commencement of work. <br /> OTHER PERMITS Frequently other local,state and/or federal agencies will require permits prior to new uses <br /> being established(e.g.Air Pollution Control-District,Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> Fish&Game.Fish S Wildlife or the Sheriff's Office).
