The study was performed according to the requirements of Section
9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work
included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by
Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD) of San Joaquin County.
In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and groundwater information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use
with a septic system.
The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, the
EHD s Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003.
1.1 Site Description
The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the site is 001-171-01. The site is
currently used for agriculture, planted primarily in hay.
The elevation of the site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic map, is
near sea level. This zoning designation "is established to preserve
agricultural lands for the continuation of commercial agricultural enterprises."
/1.2 Proposed Development
According to a tentative parcel map provided by Conti and Associates, the proposed
development is to subdivide the property into seven (7), 40-acre parcels.
C
902 Industrial Way-Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 -Fax 209.369.4228 02008 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc
