A copy of our field percolation test results for P-1 and P-2,
along with a plan showing the approximate test hole locations, are attached.
Te'stNimb`er..,;r; ,, De tli` feetPercylation"Rate (irninute/ich
P-1 3.2 125
P-2 9.5 15.6
P-3 25 25
The above test results and our observations indicate that the percolation characteristics of the
upper clays and silts will not meet the minimum SJCPHS percolation criteria (minimum 60
minutes/inch or faster) for on-site sewage disposal. The percolation characteristics of the
underlying silty sand encountered at a depth of about 9 feet below site grade satisfies SJCPHS
criteria. Accordingly, sewage leach trenches should either extend as required into the silty sand
stratum or shallow trenches connected to seepage pits that extend into the silty sand will be
required.
This completes the scope of work requested. Our work was performed in general accordance
with the standard of care that exists in San Joaquin County. No other guarantee or warranty,
expressed or implied is made.
