Brandt Rd., Lockeford <br /> The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirements listed below have been identified <br /> as pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot <br /> be modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating the potential reuse of the existing <br /> septic system (Permit 93-0602) and the proposed staff and customer use shall be <br /> submitted to the Environmental Health Department, indicating that the area is suitable <br /> for septic system usage. The studies must be approved by the Environmental Health <br /> Department prior to issuance of building permit(s). (San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of $695 must be paid at time of submittal to the <br /> Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San <br /> Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the <br /> manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment <br /> and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of $139 per percolation <br /> hole is required. <br /> NOTE: The existing septic tank shall be pumped and inspected under a liquid waste <br /> consultation from the Environmental Health Department to determine its <br /> condition for possible reuse. A fee of $139 for the consultation is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates with the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department <br /> prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a <br /> State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> a. Install cement surface seal around the well casing to protect the well casing <br /> sufficiently and the integrity of well grout. <br />
