Item No. 1
PC: 11-5-92
SU-91-15
Page 28
C. Significant Impact: Cumulative traffic impacts.
Project traffic, when added to cumulative conditions (year 2010), would result in LOS E/F
operations on State Routes 12188 through Lockeford from Brandt Road to Tully Road.
Findin
Specific economic, social, or other considerations make infeasible any mitigation measures or
project attematives identified in the Final EIR.
Statement of Fact:
Existing, pi us project, plus known cumulative projects, do not yield a change in traffic conditions
and do not degrade traffic conditions to unacceptable levels. The State Route-is a regional
facility, and the long-term cumulative traffic impacts are regional concerns which will be addressed i
on a regional basis. Long-term effects will be studied and resolved in such vehicles as the I
General Plan process, engineering studies funded by the sales and gasoline taxes, and resulting
mitigation fees. Additionally, the project is already subject to the payment of the County's Traffic
Impact Mitigation Fees. In an effort to provide mitigation for these cumulative traffic impacts to
the extent that is practicable, the developer will contribute his 'fair share' of fees toward future
roadway improvements in the Lockeford area
