4.
Page 2
{ San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Subject: Minor Subdivision Application No. MS 97-16
Soil Suitability Study
Within a radius of one-fourth (114) mile of the subject property, there are four (4) existing
residences. Within the past twenty-five (25) years, there has been one (1) known septic system
failure within this area. Environmental Health Permit No. 72295 was issued to a residence
located at 18401 North Atkins Road on March 21, 1972 which involved the addition of two (2) r
seepage ponds. Recognizing that it is not unusual for leaching facilities to have a life expectancy
of approximately fifteen,(15) years, the above instance of failure is not unreasonable.
k R. _It is the-opinion,of..thei-undersigne&that_-t-he:soil.conditions are suitable for the-purpose of-the -- =- -4
I subject application, which is to create two (2) 40.0 acre sites for future residences and septic-
systems.
eptic systems.
In consideration of the fact that the subject minor subdivision application will provide for a
maximum of two (2) additional'new septic tank systems, it is the opinion of the undersigned that
4 the subject application will not have an adverse cumulative effect on the quality of the
groundwater in the area. Our professional opinion is that the above findings and statements do
not constitute either an expressed or implied guarantee of warranty.
Very truly yours, -
Siegfried Engineering, Inc. ;ol s$f
`4 81.[.f NgCF,y. •
f u' NO.5D07
JXiA.
