ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> KRC AGGREGATE <br /> EMERGENCY PROCEDURES <br /> 1 . Take command -- stay calm. <br /> 2. Immediately give first aid for stoppage of breathing and/or <br /> ' heartbeat, severe bleeding and physical shock. <br /> 3 . send for help or ambulance as soon as possible, but in any <br /> case, do not leave the victim. <br />� 4. Move quickly to provide care. Remain calm and do not <br /> discourage or demoralize the victim. <br /> 5. Unless other danger exists, do not move the injured person. <br /> Obtain proper medical help before patient is moved. <br /> FIRST AID <br /> 1. All accidents and injuries must be reported to your supervisor. <br /> immediately. <br /> 2. Know who is trained in first aid on your shift. These persons <br /> include all supervisors, emergency medical technicians (EMT) , <br /> and many fellow employees. <br /> 3. Know how to call for help. Know the location of communication <br /> devices. <br /> 4. First aid training is encouraged. <br /> SITE EMERGENCY <br /> 1 . Know the location of the fire extinguishers in your work area. <br /> 2. Know the exit routes from your work area. <br /> 3 .
