These were designed to protect biological resources in the quarry expansion area,including protection of water quality from erosion,sedimentation,and non-point source pollution. 3. If listed vernal pool branchiopods are present;direct impacts to these occupied habitats will be mitigated at an offsite USFWS_ approved mitigation bank at a ratio of 3:1 (2:1 preservation and 1:1 creation),and indirect impacts will be mitigated at a ratio of 2:1 preservation(USFWS 1996).
