These lands surrounding this property tend to be flat or low
rolling in shape with a silty sand type of ground. The;area proposed to be
excavated is the highest point of this ranch and of the surrounding ranches.
The site has varying depths of sand and gravel deposits underlying the
topsoil.
c) Hydrology
Ground water depth is 13' below the existing ground surface and excavation
will not reach groundwater depth.
d) Soil Assessment
Please see attached soils report from FGL Laboratories for soils analysis and
recommendations in Attachment "D".
e) Veaetation/Wildlife
The excavation site is a 40.9 acre field, and has been continually farmed for
13 years, but with little results due to the sandy soil. "Because of the activity
and open area for the ranch no wildlife has been seen on this ranch. The
endangered species database does not list any rare plants or species as
potentially occurring in the area. Potential impacts to any sensitive species or
habitat if any would be expected to be less than significant.
f) In-stream mining
There will be no in-stream mining and it is not applicable to this project.
1
