There is an existing home and <br /> outbuildings on what will be parcel 3 . Previous land use appears to <br /> have been pasture . <br /> SOILS <br /> The soils map and description from the "Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, <br /> California" indicates that the soil type for parcel 1 ,2 , and 3 , is <br /> San Joaquin Loam, Thick Surface . <br /> Typically, the surface layer is pinkish gray loam about 12" thick . The <br /> upper 14" of the subsoil is brown sandy clay loam. The next 9" is a clay- <br /> pan of brown clay. The lower part to a depth of 60" is a brown and light <br /> brown indurated hardpan. <br /> Test hole observations revealed that sandy layers exist at various depths <br /> bader <br />
