[1] EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This Soil Suitability Study presents the results of our investigation concerning the soil strata under
the above-referenced subject property. The property is located on Burwood Road, approximately
5 miles south of the town of Escalon. Our study was performed to determine if the site is
acceptable for septic systems which will function properly and pose no adverse environmental
impact to surface waters or to the underlying groundwater. This report is in compliance with the
requirements of Development Title Section 9-1105.2 Item (d) of the San Joaquin County
Ordinance Codes.
[2] SUBJECT SITE AND STUDY AREA BACKGROUND INFORMATION
As illustrated on the attached Tentative Map, Parcel A consists of 52.8 acres and is currently in
almonds, which are sprinkler irrigated. Parcel B contains the existing house, detached garage, shed
and barn and consists of 4.34 acres. Future development of the property is unknown at this time.
The study area is predominately agricultural production land, primarily almond and walnut orchards.
Surrounding structures are very low density single family housing, ranches and ranchettes. Current
zoning of the property is AG-40. The topography of the site is flat, adjacent to Burwood Road. The
property then drops down towards the Stanislaus River. A proposed septic system would have to
be designed and engineered to accommodate the slopes if it is determined that the sloped areas must
be used for effluent disposal.
A review of Application Permits on file with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department indicates there have been no Applications for Repairs/Additions in the one-half mile
diameter study area.
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
' regarding our reports or letters Is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
