The General Plan is being amended to utilize the Master Plan map for the community plan of the General Plan. The <br /> amendments add permanent retention basins to serve as"Water Quality Basins",as called for in the CSD Storm Water Plan. <br /> These basins are proposed in accordance with policies contained in the Master Plan as well as State and Federal guidelines <br /> for treatment of urban storm water run-off prior to discharge into receiving waters of the United States(Mountain House Creek <br /> and Old River). <br /> The accompanying land use amendments are proposed in order to accommodate the retention basins. These land use <br /> amendments involve the deletion of an excess second high school site north of Byron Road and minor adjustments to <br /> residential areas adjacent to the proposed basins. The residential land use amendments do not change the acreage or <br /> density of required residential development;rather they move the existing designation locations slightly to accommodate the <br /> basins. <br /> The site of the permanent fire station serving southern Mountain House is being relocated to corner of Mascot Blvd. and ' <br /> Central Parkway from corner of Grant Line Road and Central Parkway. <br /> i <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located within the Mountain House community on the nortLi_e of Byron Road on <br /> sites adjacent#o Mountai use Creek and Old River Supervisorial District5) <br /> i <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL.DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study <br /> and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the <br /> Community Development Department no later than August 11,2000.
