(Supervisorial <br /> District 5) <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Mountain House Community Services District (CSD) and <br /> Trimark Communities are applying for land use, stormwater facility, fire station and school <br /> facility amendments to the Mountain House Master Plan and Specific Plan 1. The General Plan <br /> is being amended to utilize the Master Plan map for the community plan of the General Pian. The <br /> amendments add permanent retention basins to serve as "Water Quality Basins", as called for in <br /> the CSD Storm Water flan. These basins are proposed in accordance with policies contained in <br /> the Master Plan as well as State and Federal guidelines for treatment of urban storm water run- <br /> off prior to discharge into receiving waters of the United States (Mountain House Creek and Old <br /> River). <br /> The accompanying land use amendments are proposed in order to accommodate the retention <br /> basins. These land use amendments involve the deletion of an excess second high school site <br /> north of Byron Road and minor adjustments to residential areas adjacent to the proposed basins. <br /> The residential land use amendments do not change the acreage or density of required residential <br /> development; rather they move the existing designation locations slightly to accommodate the <br />
