This Soil <br /> Suitability Study was completed in accordance with EHD requirements. <br /> The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> Fil In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> Fil <br /> septic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The subject property is located on the west side of South Cabe Road approximately 500 feet south <br /> of Eleventh Street in Tracy. The property is a 2.05-acre parcel,APN 250-160-05, (Plate 1) used in <br /> the past for farming and is now fallow.
